Belagavi City Corporation corporator Sarika Patil has issued a written apology for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Kannada organisations and leaders in a Facebook post. Patil submitted her statement to Shahapur police, expressing regret and assuring that the post, which she admitted was made in anger, has been deleted. She acknowledged the post could have created a misleading impression about Kannada organisations' activities.
