Vidhu Chopra Paid Soni Razdan 10 Years Later

Actor Soni Razdan revealed that filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra paid her for her work in the 1986 film Khamosh a decade after its release. Chopra had promised the cast and crew that they would be paid once the film generated revenue. Although Khamosh was not a commercial success initially, it gained cult status after its TV rights were sold. True to his word, Chopra sent Razdan a cheque ten years later, a gesture she found incredibly heartwarming and a testament to his integrity.

एक्टर सोनी राज़दान ने बताया कि फिल्ममेकर विधु विनोद चोपड़ा ने उन्हें 1986 की फिल्म 'खामोश' में काम करने के लिए रिलीज़ के एक दशक बाद पैसे दिए। चोपड़ा ने कास्ट और क्रू से वादा किया था कि फिल्म से कमाई होने पर उन्हें पैसे दिए जाएंगे। हालांकि 'खामोश' शुरुआत में व्यावसायिक रूप से सफल नहीं हुई, लेकिन टीवी राइट्स बिकने के बाद इसे कल्ट स्टेटस मिल गया। अपने वादे के पक्के, चोपड़ा ने 10 साल बाद राज़दान को एक चेक भेजा, जिसे उन्होंने बेहद दिल को छू लेने वाला और उनकी ईमानदारी का प्रमाण बताया।
