माहि‍मा मक्‍वाना ने मुश्‍किलों को अपनी ताकत बनाया। मुंबई की चॉल में पली-बढ़ीं, 26 की उम्र तक उनके पास दो घर थे। पिता की मौत के बाद, मां ने अकेले ही उन्हें और भाई-बहन को पाला। 9 साल की उम्र में माहि‍मा ने स्‍कूल के साथ ऑडिशन देना शुरू किया, ताकि मां का घर खरीदने का सपना पूरा हो सके। 13 साल की उम्र में पहला लीड रोल मिला और एक साल बाद पहला घर और कार खरीद ली।
