Headmaster Arrested For Student Sexual Harassment

A 52-year-old government school principal in Chennai has been arrested under the Pocso Act for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old Class VI student. The incident occurred near Thiruporur when the girl was assisting with cleaning activities. The headmaster reportedly took her to his room and assaulted her. After the girl informed her parents, police registered a case, arrested the principal, and remanded him in judicial custody. He has since been suspended by the school education department.

चेन्नई में 52 साल के सरकारी स्कूल प्रिंसिपल को Pocso Act के तहत एक 12 साल की छठी क्लास की छात्रा से कथित तौर पर यौन उत्पीड़न करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह घटना थिरुपुर के पास हुई जब लड़की सफाई गतिविधियों में मदद कर रही थी। हेडमास्टर ने कथित तौर पर उसे अपने कमरे में ले जाकर उसके साथ गलत काम किया। लड़की ने अपने माता-पिता को बताने के बाद, पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज किया, प्रिंसिपल को गिरफ्तार किया और न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया। स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ने तब से उन्हें निलंबित कर दिया है।
