Apple has launched the first beta versions of iOS 18.3 and other operating systems, enabling agentic artificial intelligence capabilities with an upgraded Siri. Developers can now integrate Siri AI's understanding of personal context and onscreen awareness into third-party apps using App Intents. New skills allow Siri to handle complex requests by combining multiple actions, such as finding flights or checking sales in specific apps. While Siri can now perform cross-app tasks, Apple is maintaining guardrails to prevent autonomous actions like automated shopping or payments.
