The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has questioned the INDIA bloc's decision to hold a rally on November 1, coinciding with Diwali festivities. VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal highlighted that political parties should not disregard festivals, social harmony, and the economy for political gains. He drew a parallel to Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, which took a break for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Bansal stated that appeals from traders and the Hindu community to postpone the rally, citing potential disruptions and business losses, were ignored by the opposition.
