A 45-year-old Army soldier, identified as Naik Wagh Ambades from Maharashtra, was discovered hanging in a shed at the Sunjwan camp in Jammu on Sunday. Officials are treating the incident as a suspected suicide, though the reasons behind it remain unknown. Police have commenced inquest proceedings to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. His body has been transferred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for postmortem examination and further legal formalities.
