25 Cattle Rescued Near Maraimalai Nagar During Transport for Slaughter

Police and animal welfare activists rescued 25 cattle near Maraimalai Nagar on Saturday, who were being transported to Kerala for slaughter in inhumane conditions. The animals were found cramped in a truck with no food, water, or adequate ventilation, and lacked proper transport documents. Activist Sai Vignesh alerted authorities after noticing the poor conditions. The rescued cattle have been moved to a government shelter, and police are awaiting a veterinarian's certificate for further action against the transporters.

पुलिस और पशु कल्याण कार्यकर्ताओं ने शनिवार को मराймаलाई नगर के पास 25 मवेशियों को बचाया, जिन्हें वध के लिए अमानवीय परिस्थितियों में केरल ले जाया जा रहा था। जानवरों को बिना भोजन, पानी या पर्याप्त हवादार व्यवस्था के एक ट्रक में ठूंस कर भरा पाया गया था, और उनके पास उचित परिवहन दस्तावेज नहीं थे। कार्यकर्ता साई विग्नेश ने खराब स्थिति देखकर अधिकारियों को सतर्क किया। बचाए गए मवेशियों को एक सरकारी आश्रय में ले जाया गया है, और पुलिस ट्रांसपोर्टरों के खिलाफ आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए पशु चिकित्सक के प्रमाण पत्र का इंतजार कर रही है।
