Rajinikanth's film 'Jailer 2' has achieved remarkable success, becoming the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 within just five days of its release. The movie garnered ₹242.25 crore net domestically and $20.5 million internationally, pushing its worldwide gross to ₹477 crore. It surpassed the lifetime collections of 'Border 2' and 'Hanuman Ansh' on its fifth day. The film is now positioned behind 'Dhurandhar The Revenge' and 'Drishyam 3' for the year. 'Jailer 2' is also climbing the ranks of highest-grossing Tamil films, aiming for the ₹600-crore mark.
