Jen Podany, founder of Bluestone Sunshields, relocated her family from Los Angeles to Snowflake, Arizona, a town of about 6,000 residents. After years of visiting for breaks, the family sought a quieter life, finding Los Angeles traffic hindered their children's outdoor play. They purchased a four-bedroom home for approximately $500,000 and moved permanently in January 2025. Podany reports improved well-being, business growth, and a stronger sense of community, noting her children now have more independence and freedom.
