State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) announced a 21.45% decrease in its consolidated net profit for Q2 FY27, reaching approximately ₹4,863 crore. This decline occurred despite higher refinery margins, as losses from selling petrol, diesel, and LPG below market rates impacted earnings. The company's cumulative under-recoveries on LPG reached ₹17,334.40 crore as of September 30, 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations saw a significant increase of 29.7% to ₹1,57,818 crore.
