Harvard Advises International Students on Visa Rule Change

Harvard University has issued a critical advisory to its international students regarding significant changes to F-1 and J-1 visa rules set to take effect on September 15. The Department of Homeland Security is replacing the "duration of status" system with fixed visa end dates. Students currently in the U.S. before this deadline will retain existing protections. However, those re-entering the country after September 15 will be subject to the new, stricter framework.

हार्वर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी ने अपने अंतरराष्ट्रीय छात्रों को 15 सितंबर से लागू होने वाले F-1 और J-1 वीज़ा नियमों में बड़े बदलावों को लेकर एक ज़रूरी सलाह दी है। अब "duration of status" की जगह वीज़ा की तय समाप्ति तिथि होगी। जो छात्र इस तारीख से पहले अमेरिका में हैं, उनके पुराने नियम लागू रहेंगे। लेकिन, 15 सितंबर के बाद देश लौटने वालों को नए, कड़े नियमों का सामना करना पड़ेगा।
