Three officers from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) that investigated former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna's sex crimes have received the Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak-2026. Police Inspector Shobha N., Assistant Sub-Inspector Rathnamma K., and Head Constable Balakrishna Y. were recognized for their work on the case. Prajwal Revanna was convicted in one case of rape and sentenced to life imprisonment, with trials ongoing in three other sexual abuse cases. This award follows a previous cash reward announced for the SIT by the Karnataka government.
