Karnataka, Montana Identify Key Tech Areas for Collaboration

Karnataka and the US state of Montana have pinpointed quantum and photonics, precision agriculture, biosciences, semiconductors, and aerospace as priority sectors for technological collaboration. This was decided during a meeting between Karnataka's IT minister Priyank Kharge and Montana governor Greg Gianforte. The discussions aimed to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation in technology, research, innovation, and market access. The engagement is expected to foster stronger connections between companies, research institutions, and innovation ecosystems in both regions.

कर्नाटक और अमेरिका के मोंटाना राज्य ने तकनीकी सहयोग के लिए क्वांटम और फोटोनिक्स, प्रिसिजन एग्रीकल्चर, बायोसाइंसेज, सेमीकंडक्टर और एयरोस्पेस को प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्रों के रूप में चिन्हित किया है। यह फैसला कर्नाटक के आईटी मंत्री प्रियांक खड़गे और मोंटाना के गवर्नर ग्रेग जियानफोर्टे के बीच एक बैठक के दौरान लिया गया। चर्चाओं का उद्देश्य प्रौद्योगिकी, अनुसंधान, नवाचार और बाजार पहुंच में सहयोग का विस्तार करने के अवसरों का पता लगाना था। इस जुड़ाव से दोनों क्षेत्रों की कंपनियों, अनुसंधान संस्थानों और नवाचार पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के बीच मजबूत संबंध बनने की उम्मीद है।
