Two women in Ahmedabad have allegedly been defrauded of over Rs 1.1 crore by three agents who promised Canadian work permits and dependent visas. The agents reportedly took the money, provided fake visa documents, and used the victims' bank accounts for suspicious transactions. One woman paid Rs 55 lakh, while the other lost Rs 50 lakh. The Crime Branch has registered a complaint, and the Economic Offences Wing is investigating the alleged fraud, including significant sums transacted through the victims' accounts.

अहमदाबाद की दो महिलाओं ने तीन एजेंटों द्वारा कथित तौर पर ₹1.1 करोड़ से अधिक की ठगी का आरोप लगाया है, जिन्होंने कनाडा के वर्क परमिट और डिपेंडेंट वीजा का वादा किया था। एजेंटों ने कथित तौर पर पैसे लिए, नकली वीजा दस्तावेज प्रदान किए और पीड़ितों के बैंक खातों का इस्तेमाल संदिग्ध लेनदेन के लिए किया। एक महिला ने ₹55 लाख का भुगतान किया, जबकि दूसरी महिला ने ₹50 लाख खो दिए। क्राइम ब्रांच ने शिकायत दर्ज कर ली है, और इकोनॉमिक ऑफेंसेस विंग पीड़ितों के खातों के माध्यम से किए गए महत्वपूर्ण लेन-देन सहित कथित धोखाधड़ी की जांच कर रहा है।
