Delhi HC Rejects Tenant's Bid to Stay in Property for Law Office

Times of India - Business · business

The Delhi High Court has rejected a tenant's objections against eviction, allowing landlords to use the rented premises for their law office. The tenant had argued that the landlords had changed their stated purpose and already possessed alternative properties for their professional work. The court found that the landlords had a better title than the tenant and that refining the intended use of the property does not automatically render the requirement mala fide.
