A BEST committee member has alleged serious financial irregularities in the Chalo App's billing system, demanding an Economic Offences Wing investigation. He claims payments are made for 30 lakh commuters daily, despite only 2 lakh actively using the app. This amounts to over Rs 14 crore annually, a figure he questions. Chalo refuted the charges, stating their contract covers technology for all ticket types and revenue reconciliation, not just digital ticketing.

एक BEST समिति सदस्य ने Chalo App के बिलिंग सिस्टम में गंभीर वित्तीय अनियमितताओं का आरोप लगाया है और Economic Offences Wing से जांच की मांग की है। उनका दावा है कि ऐप का केवल 2 लाख लोग सक्रिय रूप से उपयोग करते हैं, फिर भी प्रतिदिन 30 लाख यात्रियों के लिए भुगतान किया जा रहा है। यह सालाना 14 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक है, जिस पर उन्होंने सवाल उठाया है। Chalo ने आरोपों का खंडन करते हुए कहा कि उनके अनुबंध में केवल डिजिटल टिकटिंग ही नहीं, बल्कि सभी प्रकार के टिकटों के लिए तकनीक और राजस्व समाधान शामिल है।
