KGMU in Lucknow has begun round-the-clock platelet processing to address the rising demand from dengue patients. The blood bank will now process donations received after 5 PM throughout the night, significantly improving availability for those needing transfusions outside regular working hours. This initiative comes as the city reported 22 new dengue cases on Saturday, bringing the year's total to 622, with nearly 300 cases in September alone. Health officials are urging residents to seek testing for fever and prevent mosquito breeding.

केजीएमयू, लखनऊ ने डेंगू के मरीजों की बढ़ती मांग को पूरा करने के लिए चौबीसों घंटे प्लेटलेट प्रोसेसिंग शुरू कर दी है। ब्लड बैंक अब रात में 5 बजे के बाद प्राप्त दान को प्रोसेस करेगा, जिससे नियमित काम के घंटों के बाहर ट्रांसफ्यूजन की आवश्यकता वाले लोगों के लिए उपलब्धता में काफी सुधार होगा। यह पहल ऐसे समय में आई है जब शहर ने शनिवार को डेंगू के 22 नए मामले दर्ज किए, जिससे इस साल का कुल आंकड़ा 622 हो गया, जिसमें अकेले सितंबर में लगभग 300 मामले हैं। स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने निवासियों से बुखार के लिए परीक्षण कराने और मच्छरों के प्रजनन को रोकने का आग्रह किया है।
