Biocon Biologics has received a positive opinion from the European Medicines Agency's CHMP for its Pertuzumab biosimilar, Pebrilzo. This recommendation is for marketing authorisation to treat HER2-positive breast cancer across multiple stages. The European Commission will now conduct a final review before issuing its decision. If approved, the drug's product characteristics will be translated into all EU languages, with the assessment report published on the EMA website.
