Neha Bora, the 29-year-old PhD scholar and national president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), has become a prominent figure in recent student activism. She is currently leading protests against the Chief Election Commissioner and the special intensive revision exercise of electoral rolls. Bora has been detained multiple times by Delhi Police amid these agitations. Previously, she was a key leader in protests against examination irregularities, including a 23-day hunger strike related to NEET. Her activism stems from differing political views from her family, who are staunch BJP supporters.
