Colts' Alec Pierce Out Weeks, Darius Slayton Signed

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is expected to miss several weeks due to a left heel injury, potentially returning by midseason. The injury affects the same foot that underwent surgery in March. The Colts also signed veteran wide receiver Darius Slayton, who has prior experience with quarterback Daniel Jones. Defensive end Michael Clemons was placed on injured reserve after sustaining a toe injury. Pierce led the NFL in yards per reception for two seasons.
