A 32-year-old man in Gujarat has been arrested for allegedly stealing 387 cartons of firecrackers worth Rs 11.23 lakh from a police-sealed shop. The accused rented the adjacent shop, broke through the shared wall at night, and moved the stock. He then attempted to conceal the crime by rebuilding the damaged section of the wall. Police apprehended him following a tip-off, and he confessed to the theft. The firecrackers had been seized earlier under the Explosives Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

गुजरात में 32 साल के एक आदमी को पुलिस सील की हुई दुकान से 11.23 लाख रुपये के 387 कार्टन पटाखे चुराने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। आरोपी ने बगल की दुकान किराए पर ली, रात में बीच की दीवार तोड़ी और सारा माल पार कर दिया। उसने टूटी हुई दीवार को फिर से बनाकर अपराध छिपाने की कोशिश की। मुखबिर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने उसे पकड़ा और उसने चोरी कबूल कर ली। पटाखे पहले Explosives Act और Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita के तहत जब्त किए गए थे।
