Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa Files Defamation Case Against AAP Leaders

Delhi minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a criminal defamation case against Aam Aadmi Party leaders Saurabh Bhardwaj, Sanjeev Jha, and Kuldeep Kumar. The case stems from allegations of 'gullak' (piggy bank) and 'rice' theft made against Sirsa by the AAP leaders. Sirsa stated in court that these accusations are false, baseless, and have damaged his and his family's reputation. He further argued that the term 'gullak' holds religious significance in Sikhism, and the allegations have hurt his religious and social image.

दिल्ली के मंत्री मंजीत सिंह सिरसा ने आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के नेताओं सौरभ भारद्वाज, संजीव झा और कुलदीप कुमार के खिलाफ आपराधिक मानहानि का मामला दर्ज कराया है। यह मामला आप नेताओं द्वारा सिरसा पर 'गुल्लक' और 'चावल' चोरी के आरोपों से जुड़ा है। सिरसा ने अदालत में कहा कि ये आरोप झूठे, बेबुनियाद हैं और इनसे उनकी और उनके परिवार की बदनामी हुई है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि 'गुल्लक' शब्द का सिख धर्म में धार्मिक महत्व है और इन आरोपों से उनकी धार्मिक और सामाजिक छवि को ठेस पहुंची है।
