Himachal Pradesh Ex-Minister Vijay Singh Mankotia Dies

Former Himachal Pradesh minister Major Vijay Singh Mankotia passed away on Tuesday morning at his native village in Kangra district. He was 87 years old. Mankotia was elected to the state assembly five times and served as a minister from 1995 to 1998 and again from March 2003 to July 2004. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his condolences, acknowledging Mankotia's significant contributions to the state's development and societal welfare. The Chief Minister extended his sympathies to the family and prayed for the departed soul.

हिमाचल के पूर्व मंत्री विजय सिंह मनकोटिया का निधन

हिमाचल प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री मेजर विजय सिंह मनकोटिया का मंगलवार सुबह कांगड़ा जिले के उनके पैतृक गांव में निधन हो गया। वह 87 वर्ष के थे। मनकोटिया पांच बार राज्य विधानसभा के लिए चुने गए थे और 1995 से 1998 तक और फिर मार्च 2003 से जुलाई 2004 तक मंत्री रहे। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने शोक व्यक्त करते हुए राज्य के विकास और सामाजिक कल्याण में मनकोटिया के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को स्वीकार किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने परिवार के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की और दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की।
