Wolfsburg Terminate Christian Eriksen Contract

German club VfL Wolfsburg and Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen have mutually agreed to terminate his contract early. The deal was set to run until June 2027. Eriksen, 34, previously suffered a cardiac arrest in 2021 and collapsed during a friendly in June. He will return to Denmark for rehabilitation. Eriksen joined Wolfsburg a year ago, making 34 appearances and scoring three goals with 10 assists.
