Mecca Air Raid Alert Issued For First Time

Saudi Arabia's Civil Defence issued air raid alerts in Mecca, Jeddah, and Taif on Tuesday, marking the first historical alert for the holy city. The warnings were quickly lifted. This unprecedented alert follows repeated recent attacks by Iran-backed Houthis from Yemen. Air traffic to Medina's airport was also reportedly halted. The Houthis have intensified missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia, causing casualties and setting oil sites ablaze.

सऊदी अरब के नागरिक सुरक्षा ने मंगलवार को मक्का, जेद्दा और ताइफ़ में हवाई हमले की चेतावनी जारी की। यह पवित्र शहर के लिए पहली ऐतिहासिक चेतावनी थी। ये चेतावनियाँ जल्दी ही हटा ली गईं। यह अभूतपूर्व चेतावनी यमन से ईरान समर्थित हूती विद्रोहियों द्वारा हाल के हमलों के बाद आई है। मदीना हवाई अड्डे पर हवाई यातायात भी रोके जाने की खबर है। हूती विद्रोहियों ने सऊदी अरब के खिलाफ मिसाइल और ड्रोन हमले तेज कर दिए हैं।
