Railway Police Seize Rs 1.4 Crore Unaccounted Cash From Passenger

Government Railway Police apprehended a 36-year-old man at Kharagpur railway station, seizing Rs 1.4 crore in unaccounted cash. The suspect, identified as Rahul Soni, was intercepted on platform 7 after arriving on the Tatanagar–Howrah Janshatabdi Express. Police found 280 bundles of Rs 500 notes in his bags. Soni was detained for failing to provide documentation for the money, and the Income Tax department has been alerted to investigate the source and destination of the funds.
