आज शारदीय नवरात्रि का सातवां दिन है, जो देवी दुर्गा के सातवें स्वरूप मां कालरात्रि को समर्पित है। माना जाता है कि वह दुष्ट शक्तियों का नाश करती हैं और भक्तों को भय से मुक्ति दिलाती हैं, भले ही उनका रूप भयानक हो। इस पूजा में सुबह जल्दी उठना, पूजा स्थल को साफ करना, दीपक जलाना, रोली, अक्षत, फूल और जल चढ़ाना शामिल है। भक्तों को उनके मंत्र का जाप करना चाहिए, भोग के रूप में गुड़ चढ़ाना चाहिए और उनकी आरती करनी चाहिए। पूजा के दौरान धैर्य और संतुलन के लिए ग्रे रंग पहनना शुभ माना जाता है।
