PCB Excludes Atherton, Hussain From Commentary Panel After Imran Khan Interview

Times of India · sports

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has omitted prominent English commentators Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain from the commentary panel for an upcoming ODI tri-series. This decision follows their August 2026 interview with Imran Khan's sons, where allegations of neglect in prison were made. The PCB had formally complained to Sky Sports about the interview's political nature. Atherton and Hussain were previously part of the broadcast team for England's tour of Pakistan in October 2024. The new panel includes former Pakistan internationals and other international commentators.
