Business Standard · business

India's engineering exports are projected to reach an unprecedented USD 150 billion in the current fiscal year, according to EEPC Chairman Pankaj Chadha. This marks a significant increase from the USD 122 billion recorded last fiscal. Shipments are showing robust growth, particularly in markets like the United States. The EEPC anticipates that increased exports in sectors such as iron, steel, and machinery will drive this record performance. In the first half of the current fiscal, exports already saw a substantial rise of approximately 20 percent, reaching USD 70.87 billion.
