The trial for Eric Weinberg, screenwriter for "Scrubs," began in Los Angeles on Thursday, with eight women expected to testify against him. Prosecutors allege Weinberg, 66, posed as an amateur photographer to lure women to his home, where he committed sexual assaults. He faces 23 counts of rape and sexual assault. Explicit photos were presented as evidence. The defense argued that the images show no signs of distress and suggested a conspiracy against Weinberg. The trial is expected to last eight weeks.
