Couple Quit City Jobs To Build Mountain Retreat After Workation

The Better India · lifestyle

Inspired by a three-month workation, NIFT graduates Mahima and Rashmikant Jha left their corporate careers to build a nature-led retreat called Shoonya in Uttarakhand's Letibunga village. Initially planning to return to city life in Gurgaon and Noida, the couple found themselves slowing down and reflecting on their priorities. The retreat, spread across half an acre, encourages guests to connect with nature and community rather than follow packed itineraries. Shoonya emphasizes shared spaces, village walks, and mountain views, offering a transformative experience away from urban distractions.
