Kerala CM Inaugurates Ambathodu Bridge Reconstruction Work

Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan inaugurated the reconstruction of the Ambathodu Bridge in Ezhikkara, promising an early completion to end local hardship. The Public Works Department is undertaking the project, estimated at Rs 4.69 crore, which faced delays for nearly a decade due to contractor and technical issues. The CM also highlighted other development projects, including a coastal road and six new bridges, aimed at improving connectivity and boosting tourism in the region. Dredging of Chathanad backwaters for local fishermen was also assured.

केरल के सीएम ने किया अम्बाथोडू पुल के पुनर्निर्माण कार्य का उद्घाटन

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी डी सतीशण ने एझिक्कारा में अम्बाथोडू पुल के पुनर्निर्माण का उद्घाटन किया और स्थानीय लोगों की परेशानी खत्म करने के लिए इसे जल्द पूरा करने का वादा किया। लोक निर्माण विभाग इस परियोजना को हाथ में ले रहा है, जिसका अनुमानित खर्च 4.69 करोड़ रुपये है, जो ठेकेदार और तकनीकी समस्याओं के कारण लगभग एक दशक से लंबित था। सीएम ने क्षेत्र में कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से तटीय सड़क और छह नए पुलों सहित अन्य विकास परियोजनाओं पर भी प्रकाश डाला। स्थानीय मछुआरों के लिए चथानद बैकवाटर की ड्रेजिंग का भी आश्वासन दिया गया।
