Kallada Jalotsavam Returns September 23

The 54th Kallada Jalotsavam and the second leg of the 6th Champions Boat League will be held on the Kallada river on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Organised by the State Tourism department, the event was previously suspended due to floods and the pandemic. This year marks a milestone with nine snakeboats and over 15 smaller traditional boats participating, the highest number ever on the Kallada river. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate the function.

कल्‍लडा जलउत्‍सव 23 सितंबर को लौटेगा

बुधवार, 23 सितंबर 2026 को 54वें कल्लाडा जलौत्सव और छठी चैंपियंस बोट लीग का दूसरा चरण कल्लाडा नदी पर होगा। राज्य पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा आयोजित यह कार्यक्रम पहले बाढ़ और महामारी के कारण स्थगित कर दिया गया था। इस साल नौ स्नेक बोट और 15 से अधिक छोटी पारंपरिक नौकाओं की भागीदारी के साथ एक मील का पत्थर है, जो कल्लाडा नदी पर अब तक की सबसे बड़ी संख्या है। गृह मंत्री रमेश चेन्निथला इसका उद्घाटन करेंगे।
