AISA President Neha Bora has stated she will not sign a peace bond, even after the Delhi High Court dismissed her petition. The Special Executive Magistrate had demanded a ₹10,000 bond and an assurance of maintaining peace. Bora argued that such bonds can be used to suppress democratic and peaceful protests in India. She believes citizens have the right to protest against attacks on their rights, alongside the right to vote. Bora also recounted witnessing violence, including the use of batons and the mistreatment of women and journalists during protests.
