Yemeni government forces are intensifying fighting on multiple fronts against Houthi rebels, attempting to retake the strategic port city of Mocha. The Houthis recently captured Mocha and the island of Mayyun, solidifying their control over the vital Bab al-Mandeb strait. Government forces have launched air attacks on Houthi positions, destroying vehicles and killing fighters. This escalation has forced tens of thousands of Yemenis from their homes, with over 2,000 seeking refuge in Djibouti.
