West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari stated that the ruling government's focus on development has attracted minorities to the BJP. He noted that while minorities did not vote for the party in the 2026 assembly elections, this did not hinder Narendra Modi's victory march. Adhikari asserted that the BJP government has fulfilled 40% of its manifesto promises within five-and-a-half months. He also highlighted upcoming investments in Haldia Petrochemicals and Reliance Industries, urging support for a 'triple engine' government including Kolkata and Howrah municipalities.
