Nellore District Election Officer Issues Notices To 308 Polling Officers For Missing Training

In Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district, 308 polling officers have received notices for failing to attend mandatory training sessions for the upcoming ZPTC and MPTC elections. District Election Officer Himanshu Shukla stated that absence from training is unacceptable and that those who missed it must personally explain their reasons. A total of 4,497 Presiding and Assistant Presiding Officers were appointed for the elections across 1,665 polling stations. Separately, three secretariat staff members in Nellore City and Rural constituencies received show-cause notices for negligence in distributing voter slips.

आंध्र प्रदेश के नेल्लोर जिले में, आगामी ZPTC और MPTC चुनावों के लिए अनिवार्य प्रशिक्षण सत्रों में शामिल न होने पर 308 मतदान अधिकारियों को नोटिस मिले हैं। जिला चुनाव अधिकारी हिमांशु शुक्ला ने कहा कि प्रशिक्षण से अनुपस्थिति अस्वीकार्य है और जिन्होंने इसे छोड़ दिया है, उन्हें व्यक्तिगत रूप से अपने कारण बताने होंगे। चुनावों के लिए कुल 4,497 पीठासीन और सहायक पीठासीन अधिकारियों को 1,665 मतदान केंद्रों पर नियुक्त किया गया था। अलग से, नेल्लोर शहर और ग्रामीण निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में तीन सचिवालय कर्मचारियों को मतदाता पर्ची बांटने में लापरवाही के लिए कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किए गए।
