Stanford Professor Wins 2026 Sastra-Ramanujan Award

Stanford University's Sarah Peluse has been awarded the 2026 Sastra-Ramanujan Award for her significant contributions to analytic number theory, additive combinatorics, combinatorial geometry, and group theory. Her work has led to breakthroughs in advanced mathematical problems. The award, which includes a USD 10,000 prize and a citation, will be presented, the birthday of Srinivasa Ramanujan, at the Sastra campus. This award recognizes excellence in mathematics and has previously honored recipients who later won the prestigious Fields Medal.
