Ajmer Congress Councillors Boycott Festive Functions Over Sidelining

Congress councillors in Ajmer have decided to boycott all events organised by the Ajmer Municipal Corporation (AMC) due to alleged mistreatment and being sidelined in festival committee decisions. They claim this discrimination has not occurred in the past, when both Congress and BJP councillors were treated equally. The councillors are demanding a special general meeting of the AMC be called to address their grievances. This marks the first official boycott of festival functions by AMC councillors, who plan to celebrate separately.

अजमेर में कांग्रेस पार्षदों ने अजमेर नगर निगम (AMC) द्वारा आयोजित सभी कार्यक्रमों का बहिष्कार करने का फैसला किया है। उनका आरोप है कि उनके साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया गया है और उत्सव समिति के फैसलों में उन्हें दरकिनार किया गया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि ऐसा भेदभाव पहले कभी नहीं हुआ, जब कांग्रेस और भाजपा दोनों के पार्षदों के साथ समान व्यवहार किया जाता था। पार्षद अपनी शिकायतों के समाधान के लिए AMC की विशेष आम बैठक बुलाने की मांग कर रहे हैं। यह पहली बार है जब AMC पार्षदों ने आधिकारिक तौर पर उत्सव कार्यक्रमों का बहिष्कार किया है, और वे अलग से उत्सव मनाने की योजना बना रहे हैं।
