Punjab Kings (PBKS) is reportedly planning to release five underperforming players to free up their purse and build a new team for the IPL 2027 mini-auction. This decision comes after a disappointing performance in the previous season, where the team failed to reach the playoffs. Players like Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera, and Lungi Ngidi are likely to be let go due to high costs and poor returns. Youngsters like Musheer Khan and Ben Dwarshuis might also face the axe as the franchise seeks a fresh combination.
