Chatra Administration Fines Tobacco Law Violators, Tightens Puja Rules

The Chatra district administration has imposed fines on individuals violating tobacco laws and warned of stricter actions against public smoking and illegal tobacco sales during Durga Puja. A joint team enforced the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), collecting Rs 1,000 in fines for violations. Additionally, puja committees in Hazaribag have been directed to implement safety measures, obtain licenses, and adhere to restrictions on noise and processions. These measures aim to ensure public safety and a healthy environment during the festive period.

छात्र जिला प्रशासन ने तंबाकू कानूनों का उल्लंघन करने वालों पर जुर्माना लगाया है और दुर्गा पूजा के दौरान सार्वजनिक धूम्रपान और अवैध तंबाकू बिक्री के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है। एक संयुक्त टीम ने सिगरेट और अन्य तंबाकू उत्पाद अधिनियम (COTPA) लागू किया, उल्लंघन के लिए 1,000 रुपये का जुर्माना वसूला। इसके अतिरिक्त, हजारीबाग में पूजा समितियों को सुरक्षा उपाय लागू करने, लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने और शोर तथा जुलूसों पर प्रतिबंधों का पालन करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। इन उपायों का उद्देश्य त्योहारी अवधि के दौरान सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा और एक स्वस्थ वातावरण सुनिश्चित करना है।
