Abhishek Sharma's Explosive Batting Could See Him Enter ODI World Cup Squad

Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes young opener Abhishek Sharma's aggressive batting style could be a game-changer in the ODI format. Kaif suggested that if Sharma is given the 10-over powerplay in ODIs, he could wreak havoc on bowlers, similar to his destructive performances in T20 cricket. Sharma's ability to dominate the initial overs has led to discussions about his potential inclusion in the upcoming ODI World Cup squad as a backup opener. His batting prowess is seen as capable of deciding matches within the powerplay itself.
