Police in Kanpur will chargesheet a former employee of a rehabilitation centre for allegedly circulating an obscene video involving a 17-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man with intellectual disabilities. A medical examination revealed the man has a mental age of 7.5 years and an IQ of 48, indicating he did not understand the criminal nature of the act. The accused allegedly recorded the video and sent it to the girl's family. The man's mother also alleged the former employee threatened to blackmail her with the video.
