Bengaluru Cop Arrested For Dowry Harassment, Attack

A Bengaluru police sub-inspector has been arrested following allegations of dowry harassment and assault by his wife. She claims he demanded a substantial dowry and subjected her to physical abuse. The situation escalated when he allegedly threatened her and her father with a machete during a dispute. Initially, a non-cognisable report was filed, but an FIR has now been registered.
