Turkey's Bayraktar TB2 Drone Now Carries 16 Kamikaze Drones

Times of India · technology

Turkey is transforming its Bayraktar TB2 combat drone into an airborne carrier for smaller kamikaze drones. In a recent test, the drone successfully carried 16 Skydagger FPV kamikaze drones and released two to strike designated targets. The TB2 also acted as a communications relay, enabling ground operators to control the smaller drones independently. This development could significantly extend the reach of FPV drones, potentially changing battlefield operations by allowing a single aircraft to deploy multiple weapons.
