Varanasi has issued a security advisory for an upcoming Air Force air show, urging people to stay away from dilapidated buildings. Authorities have identified 424 such structures in four zones, particularly near Ganga ghats, warning owners and tenants against inviting people onto unsafe roofs and balconies. The advisory cites potential accidents due to vibrations and increased load from aircraft performances and crowds. Strict action will be taken under the UP Municipal Corporation Act, 1959, for non-compliance, with unsafe areas requiring barricading and warning signs.
