India has strongly criticized Pakistan at the United Nations over its stance on the rule of law. Counsellor R. Mythili stated that Pakistan cannot lecture on the rule of law when its own military effectively governs the country, calling it a mockery of justice. She highlighted Pakistan's constitutional amendments, the imprisonment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, and the sentencing of civilians through military courts as evidence of its disregard for legal principles.
