Singer Mika Singh has revealed that his brother, Daler Mehndi, was deeply affected by an incident in Uttarakhand where a minister accused him of performing while drunk. Mika stated that Daler Mehndi cried profusely after the event, feeling broken by the public accusation. Following the controversy, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reportedly called both brothers to apologize for the minister's behavior and assured them of a welcome in the state. Mika advised Daler to handle such situations more assertively if they arise in the future.

गायक मीका सिंह ने बताया है कि उनके भाई, दिलेर मेहंदी, उत्तराखंड में एक घटना से बहुत आहत हुए थे, जहाँ एक मंत्री ने उन पर नशे में परफॉर्म करने का आरोप लगाया था। मीका ने कहा कि इस घटना के बाद दिलेर मेहंदी खूब रोए थे, उन्हें सार्वजनिक आरोप से टूटा हुआ महसूस हुआ। इस विवाद के बाद, उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कथित तौर पर दोनों भाइयों को फोन करके मंत्री के व्यवहार के लिए माफी मांगी और उन्हें राज्य में स्वागत का आश्वासन दिया। मीका ने दिलेर को सलाह दी कि अगर भविष्य में ऐसी स्थितियाँ आती हैं तो वे उन्हें और मजबूती से संभालें।
