Four individuals from other states have been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly forcing 13 children, including toddlers and teenagers, to beg at traffic signals. The arrests followed a joint operation by the CCB Women Protection Wing and the Social Welfare Department. Police suspect some children may have been rented out by their parents. The rescued children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee for further action, including efforts to trace their biological parents. The operation aimed to prevent child exploitation and identify those forcing minors to beg.
